HOW THE ASTROS SYSTEM WORKS TOGETHER
The ASTROS line splits into two roles that pair together. The AS-101 and AS-201 are the “Station” the receiver that sits at the
room display EIS TechInfra Solutions and puts shared screens on it. The ASTROS Pod is the “Sender” a USB-C dongle a presenter plugs into their own laptop, with no app or driver needed, that talks straight to whichever Station is in the room. A visitor with a Pod in their bag can walk into any ASTROS-equipped room and be presenting in seconds,
without asking IT for a cable or a login. Everyone else in the room can still join the same session from their own laptop or phone through the ASTROS App, AirPlay, Google Cast, or a browser, so the Pod is a convenience, not a requirement.
Every device in the ASTROS line also shares TLS encryption on every session, a LAN Gatekeeper against outside network access, and no subscription fee, regardless of model.

What is a wireless presentation system?

How does the ASTROS Pod share a screen without cables?
The ASTROS Pod plugs into a laptop’s USB-C port and sends the screen to a paired ASTROS Station on the room display, with no software, driver, or Wi-Fi setup needed before presenting.
What is the difference between the AS-101 and AS-201 wireless presentation stations?
The AS-201 supports 20 simultaneous connections, a 4-way split screen, remote view, annotation tools, and PoE. The AS-101 supports 8 connections and a 2-way split screen, without those extra features.
Does the EIS wireless presentation system work with Windows and Mac?
Yes. The ASTROS Pod and Station support Windows 10 and above and macOS 10.14 and above, along with iOS, Android, and Chrome OS through the ASTROS App or native sharing protocols.
Does the AS-201 station support Power over Ethernet?
Yes. The AS-201 supports PoE over its 10/100/1000 Mbps RJ-45 Ethernet port, alongside HDMI and VGA video output and a 12V 2A power supply for most standard AV room installations.

The ASTROS line supports BeamOp, AirPlay, Google Cast, and browser-based sharing, alongside the dedicated ASTROS App, so a room can accept many device types without standardizing on one required native protocol.
Is there a subscription fee for the ASTROS wireless presentation system?
